Intended affect of my opening sequence
For my opening sequence i based it on a crime, Sci-Fi genre. The intended affect of my opening sequence for the audience i am aiming for is to create anticipation and suspense, im aiming to do this through putting the audience on edge when the drone begins to chase the girl. i want this to put the audience on edge because they don't know why she is being chased. another way in which im hoping to create anticipation and suspense is through the ending of the opening sequence where the girl gets caught by the drone and it cuts to a black screen, this will create suspense as the audience doesn't know what will happen next, this will make them want to continue watching and give them a feeling of edge of the seat.
Im also aiming for the audience to get a 'hair raising experience', i want them to get this through the thrill the chase, i feel like they will get this because they dont know if she will get away or not and because of this it should give them a thrill and make them anxious at the same time.
